The City of Euclid Police Department is accepting applications and resumes for the position of police officer, lateral entry, with a salary range of $56,521 – $63,976, plus excellent benefits, including proficiency bonus of $7,200, uniform allowance/maintenance ($1700 per year), and 16 paid holidays.
Must have minimum of three years full-time police experience, be currently employed as a police officer or laid off from such a position within the past year, O.P.O.T.A. certification and valid driver’s license. Physical agility testing through Cuyahoga Community College is mandatory and at applicants’ expense.
The Euclid Police Department offers a number of career opportunities that include patrol, detectives, narcotics & vice unit, regional tactical team assignment, K-9 unit, task force assignments, traffic division, and community policing.
