jpa-logThe Euclid Police Department’s Junior Police Academy (JPA) is designed to motivate young people to be outstanding citizens through law enforcement education. While being a part of our community policing program, the Junior Police Academy encourages our young citizens to better understand the role of the police officer while at the same time help build trust among youth and the police in general.

The academy is open to all middle school students who reside in the City of Euclid and will take place one week during the summer from Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. JPA is held at the Euclid Police Department (545 E. 222nd St, Euclid, OH) . The cost is $10.00 and the cadets are required to…

  • Be on time (Please arrive at the station no later than 7:55am / pick up is at 12pm)
  • Participate in light physical training
  • Bring their own sealable water bottle and a healthy snack if they choose
  • Be responsible for a daily notes for each training class
