Make a Difference for Homeless Pets – Join Our Volunteer Team!

Are you an animal lover with time to give? The Animal Shelter is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to help us care for pets and keep our shelter running smoothly. By donating just a few hours of your time, you can make a real impact on the lives of animals in need while supporting their journey to find loving, forever homes.

We’re looking for reliable individuals who can commit to a schedule that fits your availability (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc.) for 2-4 hour shifts in the following areas:

  • Shelter Cleaning and Maintenance – Keep our spaces clean and comfortable for dogs and cats.
  • TLC and Animal Socialization – Help our animals feel loved and confident through interaction and play.
  • Office Assistance – Support our administrative efforts, including answering phones, processing dog licenses, handling adoptions, and other clerical duties. (Computer skills are a plus!)

These opportunities are available at various times throughout the week, so there’s a schedule that works for you!

Flexible Volunteer Opportunities:

We also need as-needed volunteers to help with:

  • Lawn mowing and gardening (summer months)
  • Fundraising efforts
  • Special events

This is a fantastic opportunity for:

  • Retirees looking to give back and stay active
  • Scouts and youth groups earning merit badges or completing community service projects
  • Anyone who LOVES ANIMALS and has time to share!

Important Information:

  • Regularly scheduled volunteers must be 14 years or older (with the exception of Scouts or youth groups working on specific projects).

Ready to get started? Complete our Volunteer Application and drop it off at the shelter or mail it to us. Once we receive it, we’ll be in touch to welcome you to the team!

Thank you for helping us provide care, comfort, and hope to our pets. Together, we can make a difference!
