The Warrant Unit is staffed by one full time officer. The unit processes numerous warrants each year and picks up prisoners from different jail facilities and transport them back to the Cuyahoga County Jail which is a part of the Euclid Police Department complex. The warrant unit also collects bond monies on the warrants and other charges that are filed through the Euclid Prosecutor office. When posting a bond, exact amounts in cash are needed for the release of any person needing a bond on a warrant or citation.
