The Euclid Police Department’s Community Policing Unit believes that we are all here to help each other. It is in that spirit of cooperation that our unit and the public we serve join together to help make our city a more peaceful, caring and vital community.

The Community Policing Unit is responsible for the many programs and events which promote safety and crime prevention, as well as offering a variety of programs and services to students, residents and the community. This unit also participates in numerous community activities and special details which have included:

  • Special events; such as East 200th Street Stroll, Lincoln Electric Safety Day
  • Active Threat Preparedness; CRASE, round table exercises, drills
  • Howl at the Hall and Trunk or Treat for Halloween
  • Safety Meetings and Neighborhood Block Watch
  • National Programs; Coffee with a Cop, Railway Safety, National Night Out
  • Events at Euclid City Schools
