Auxiliary Officers Take Oath

On Monday, March 2nd Mayor Bill Cervenik swore in six new auxiliary police officers at the Euclid City Council meeting.  These candidates join a group of dedicated volunteers in the Euclid Auxiliary Police Unit.  The Auxiliary Police Unit was established to provide additional manpower for the Euclid Police Department in areas of crowd control and traffic control. After training, these new members will join others in providing service to the community. They will be seen at sporting events, community events and of course, during the Memorial Day Parade.  All of this additional manpower is provided at no cost to the City.  Each auxiliary donates a minimum of sixty hours per year to the community. Please contact the unit if you are interested in volunteering at Euclid Auxiliary Police epdaux@yahoo.com.
