Euclid youth performing community service have their own garden bed in the Memorial Park Community Garden. Under the guidance and supervision of a master gardener, biology teacher, and diversion administrator, the youth will prepare the gardens and plant vegetables and flowers. The youth will harvest the produce which will be donated to the Euclid Hunger Center, and the flowers will be made into bouquets for Euclid Hospital patients. The diversion administrator is looking for a donation of smaller size, narrow vases to create simple bouquets, as well as some perennial long stem flowers. Please call 289-8449 if you are able to donate some vases or can split a plant from your garden. The vases can be recycled bottles, as long as the neck is narrow and the base wide, such as a taco sauce bottle.
